Once installed, the Caripur system is configurable to capture a 360-degree perspective of all facets of water consumption and device usage. This is accomplished through the system’s onboard “Internet of Things” (IoT) device and intelligent sensor capabilities. Each Caripur system is designed to leverage its IoT capabilities by supporting the transfer of sensor- and device-level data into the cloud in a secure way, without any direct interaction from the end user. The data are enabled simply by connecting the system to a mobile application on a phone, tablet, or computer.

PRODUCT REPORTING AND INTELLIGENCE
The Caripur system’s inherent capability to collect data on and expose data related to the end-to-end system consumption of water provides basic data that are accessible and controlled via an app for every user. This includes insights on usage and device performance that extends to all residential, commercial, and government-related users via our app. We see this data reporting as an included value-added feature of the system with no ongoing cost to end users.
Through the aggregation of data across devices, the Caripur system gains access to system-level insights that the end user can align with any water utility measurements they receive. The Caripur system will help provide unbiased insights and projections into overall system water usage in the context of what is provided by any water utility. The objective here is to support transparency on water utilization for all participants in the water system in the U.S. Virgin Islands (USVI).
Caripur system users will have visibility, understanding, and control over how their water consumption data are utilized by Bondurant Technologies and their data sharing partners, potentially including government agencies in the USVI.

Data commercialization opportunities
The Caripur system enables the generation and analysis of data that provide intelligence and insight such as system capacity and infrastructure failures. It can identify additional system issues such as pump performance, water pressure performance, and even information about power outages at the service property among other things. These device and system insights have the potential to be packaged into a DaaS or made available to end users of all types on an on-demand basis.
The scale and granularity of data collected from Caripur system provides opportunities for licensing data in commercial, governmental, and academic contexts. There is latent demand for granular water utility data in many different contexts including commercial and residential real estate, utility planning, and academia. Through licensing data directly, granular insights on water usage, for granular geographic areas to inform investment and system needs, is possible.
The Caripur system also positions Bondurant Technologies well in the context of water management consultation. Data analytics, insight, measurement, and consultative services present an ongoing opportunity to commercialize data. We see these consultative services as an opportunity to monetize the insights and data assets for specific use cases based on our expertise in developing and generating data related to water consumption at scale.
